After a highly praised first collaboration, Chef Peter Park has joined forces with Anthony Vaccarello to create the Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris. With its doors set to open this Friday, February 21, this new venue offers a privileged immersion into the art of Japanese cuisine. This sophisticated setting will allow you to experience the Omakase experience, amidst a decor that blends tradition and minimalism. An intimate and gastronomic rendezvous, where seasonal products will be crafted using ancestral techniques, promising a unique journey for your taste buds.

Saint Laurent Rive Droite and Sushi Park: a collaboration of expertise

The Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris highlights the culinary arts and its numerous expertise. This new culinary chapter follows a first exclusive collaboration, a pop-up, created between Chef Peter Park and the fashion house in 2022. This time, the duo aimed to envision a permanent meeting place around Japanese cuisine in the French capital. Thus, this Sushi Park location is the first to open across the Atlantic, reinforcing the bond created between the two entities. The Saint Laurent Saint-Honoré boutique has transformed its basement, ready to take you on a sensory journey.

This new venue celebrates craftsmanship in various aspects. Aiming to be refined and sophisticated, the space unveils a minimalist decor that is both traditional and modern. The place is designed to be sensory, with noble materials utilized, such as wood, paper, glass, steel, and polished concrete. The dim ambiance of the restaurant is softened by a few light fixtures playing with Japanese shapes and folds.

An elegant and warm aspect invites itself through the dishware. These pieces, designed by ceramist Daeyong Kim, reflect the DNA of Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris while showcasing the culinary creations that are presented.

Behind the culinary creations at Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris stands its eponymous chef Peter Park. Renowned worldwide, his restaurant in West Hollywood attracts a list of clients that could rival those of the Oscars and Golden Globes. Established on Sunset Boulevard since 2006, his restaurant has distinguished itself through the quality and seasonality of its products, as well as the experience it offers its guests. (Guests are prohibited from taking photos, further fueling curiosity around this prestigious venue of Japanese gastronomy.)

A unique culinary experience at Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris

Prepare for a unique and privileged culinary journey at Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris. Far from being just a restaurant, this venue presents itself as a place of experience. A moment of meeting and sharing, where the mastery of the sushi chef orchestrates your gustatory escape.

Especially popular since the 1990s, Omakase is a ritual that rests on the values of trust and creativity. Translated as “I leave it to you,” customers are invited to sit in front of a chef preparing the meal before their eyes. This experience invites you to live in the moment and be amazed by both the traditional techniques used and the combinations of textures and flavors offered. This moment, both intimate and privileged, highlights seasonal products of Japanese cuisine and the knowledge attached to them.

Saint Laurent Sushi Park Paris will introduce you to the art of Japanese cuisine, blending creativity with the precision of ancestral craftsmanship. While adhering to a minimalist style, the dishes are designed to infuse a touch of innovation into tradition. On the menu, a lunch option is available for 70 euros. Meanwhile, Chef Peter Park’s Omakase experience is offered at 110/160 euros for lunch and 210/260 euros for dinner. A wine and sake pairing is also available on the menu, priced at 45/75 euros for lunch and 55/85 euros for dinner.

A privileged rendezvous with a sophisticated launch

In addition to the stunning images revealed to us, a short video teasing the restaurant’s opening highlights the glamorous and hidden side of this Japanese gem. We see Dominic Sessa, Vassili Schneider, Lourdes Leon, Saint Levant, and Lennon Gallagher under the watchful eye of Pierre-Ange Carlotti. Seduction and secrecy are present in this short format, echoing Anthony Vaccarello’s love for imagery, which we have already appreciated in the theater through the work of Saint Laurent Productions on Strange Way of Life or even Emilia Pérez.

The rendezvous is thus set at 8 rue du 29 juillet, 75001 Paris. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, the restaurant welcomes you for lunch and dinner. However, it is advisable to make a reservation.

Additionally, if you are more of a coffee person, we have tested for you the Café Saint Laurent! And, on the outing side, the exhibition Les Fleurs d’Yves Saint Laurent is being presented until May 4, 2025.
