From Paris to London, through New York, Los Angeles, and even Seoul, a breath of Provence is making its way into the boutiques of the French designer, transformed into a Jacquemus market. This decor is designed to highlight the launch of his new bag, Le Valérie, into which it would be perfect to slip a few leather charms found at the couturier’s stalls. Blending emotion and immersive experience, the French designer once again masters storytelling to perfection, offering us a unique customer experience, as poetic as it is authentic.
The Le Valérie bag, between emotion and mature silhouette
Unveiled during his “Le Paysan” show and made available to the public a few days ago, the new Le Valérie bag by Jacquemus is a symbolic piece for the designer. Named after his mother, who passed away 17 years ago, this handbag carries many memories and serves as an emotional tribute.

On the occasion of its release, a series of videos made with Charlotte Le Bon has been unveiled, taking us back in time. We tenderly and candidly dive into all those life moments that are dear to the designer and reflect the vibrant personality of this maternal and feminine figure.
A piece designed to last
The Le Valérie bag stands as an important piece in the brand’s history. Both in terms of its inspiration and its craftsmanship. It presents a piece that is more mature, reflecting the latest collections. The lines reveal a more elevated aesthetic while maintaining the creative and minimalist DNA of Simon Porte Jacquemus. The bag aims to be timeless, with precise construction, showcasing defined edges, a structured handle, and a golden or silver buckle as a clasp, completing the creation like a piece of jewelry.
The Le Valérie bag by Jacquemus also highlights a desire to rethink the craftsmanship of pieces, creating designs that will stand the test of time. And why not, that can be passed down from generation to generation.

On one hand, the bag is the first to feature base feet to protect its leather when placed down. Additionally, the choice of materials aims for better durability and easier maintenance of the piece. This includes the crafting of the bag’s interior and pouches from lamb leather, rather than the usual fabric/cotton.
Simon Porte Jacquemus unveils his new creation in two models, one small and one large. Available in a goat leather version and one in calf suede. In terms of colors, the small Valérie comes in seven shades, including khaki, pink, red, and camel. For the large model, four colors are offered.
The Jacquemus market: a continuation of well-thought-out storytelling
Whether in the brand’s fashion shows, special events and corners, or other exhibitions… One of Jacquemus’ strengths lies in its approach to storytelling. Each time providing a true dive into the world of its creator, his roots, and inspirations, the brand manages to maintain a certain authenticity that allows it to stand out. Once again, the designer and his teams have hit the mark with the creation of a Jacquemus market to celebrate the launch of the Le Valérie bag.
Immersion in Provence at the Jacquemus market
Wicker baskets, crates of lemons, and charms shaped like leeks and hammers… The setting is ready to let our minds escape, and we can almost hear the cicadas singing! The Jacquemus market is a cocoon that smells of Provence and pays homage to the world of farmers.

Here, the customer journey is designed to be immersive. On one hand, through the carefully curated decor. Small leather crates branded Jacquemus (some from the Le Paysan show) reveal a rainbow of colors, alongside real fruits and adorable leather charms. Even small wicker baskets await you at the entrance to accompany you during your market visit!

Highlighting the roots of the designer and his family, the Le Paysan collection consists of charms in the shape of fruits and vegetables, as well as a donkey or watering can. Made from leather used for other Jacquemus pieces, it is possible, if you have a keen eye, to recognize from which creation your new accessory was made!
The different models of the Le Valérie bag are showcased at the heart of the Jacquemus market, and you can also discover the two t-shirts that complete the collection (a mug should be arriving soon).

Additionally, leather embossers are present at the Jacquemus market to allow you to personalize your Le Valérie bag with your initials. Using heat or pressure, the letters will appear with a subtle relief on the goat leather models and with a darker line on those in calf suede. A delicate detail that will add beautiful symbolism to your piece!

The Jacquemus market has been open since 12/11 on Avenue Montaigne and will open on 19/12 at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
