Inextricably linked to craftsmanship, the Spanish house has just unveiled a new range of fragrances that celebrate the boldness of perfumery and the creativity of blown glass. The Crafted Collection LOEWE Perfumes is presented through three enchanting scents, encapsulated in cases resembling sculptures. We visited the Casa LOEWE on Avenue Montaigne to discover this new olfactory journey, and we emerged completely charmed!
LOEWE Perfumes: A 360° Sensory Journey
A few months ago, we visited the LOEWE Perfumes corner at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann to attend an olfactory workshop. It was a captivating experience that took our senses on a journey and revealed the full palette of scents and creativity of the Spanish house.
Whether through the combinations of ingredients that make up the fragrances, the possible accords between different scents, or the attention to detail in the colors, reliefs, and textures of the bottles and other ceramics… LOEWE Perfumes awakens all our senses and promises us a captivating journey every time.
For its new creation, the Crafted Collection LOEWE Perfumes, the house draws on different pillars of its creativity to offer us an elevated range of perfumes that immediately charmed us!
Elevation of the Senses with the Crafted Collection LOEWE Perfumes
After mesmerizing us with the Un Paseo Por Madrid range, Nuria Cruelles, the nose of the house, continues to enchant us with the new Crafted Collection LOEWE Perfumes.
For this new creative and olfactory exchange, three perfumes have been imagined, with a desire to make them more elevated fragrances than the previous ones. Designed as an olfactory laboratory, these new compositions highlight all the expertise of perfumery, both in creative vision and unique scents.
We discover three scent blends, obtained after extensive research and crafting work, with some potentially taking up to five years to achieve their precious elixir.
Crafted with high-quality ingredients, these compositions reveal themselves with boldness and character through different intensities. For the launch of the Crafted Collection, we find three scents, which will be complemented by new creations over the years.
We thus have:
- LOEWE Roasted Vanilla: which reveals the gourmand profile of vanilla, perfectly nuanced by the woody aspect of oak. We also find notes of cognac and pink pepper.
- LOEWE Iris Root: which presents a more delicate scent with citrus notes thanks to the iris rhizome, complemented by angelica seed and Timut pepper.
- LOEWE Bittersweet Oud: which seduces with the woody intensity of oud, paired with the zest of bitter orange and citrus notes, finished with sandalwood as the final accord.
Offered in 100 ml, all three perfumes are priced at €395. A sample kit is available on the website for €45 to help you refine your choice if needed.
Craftsmanship as the Common Thread of the Crafted Collection
LOEWE Perfumes shares with the ready-to-wear branch of the house a mutual love for craftsmanship. For this new range of scents, the bottles have been designed as a celebration and spotlight on artisanal techniques and know-how, primarily those of glassblowers.
The three new perfumes are showcased for the occasion through a new silhouette, more organic and creative. Handcrafted from blown glass, the bottles contain marks of their craftsmanship in their material. Thus, each bottle aims to be unique, with air bubbles integrating their visual, making glass a living and organic material.
A sculptural spirit thus envelops the perfumes and turns these bottles into unique and high-end pieces, reflecting the elixirs they contain.
On the cap side, we also have a novelty. After discovering the wooden version of the main fragrance line and then the marble for the Un Paseo Por Madrid line, the Crafted Collection’s cap is sculpted from granite.
Traditional Spanish stone, it is thus another tribute to craftsmanship and the house’s roots that takes part in the creation. This adds a beautiful sensory note to the whole while closing with a magnet.
The attention to detail extends to the packaging, with the linen paper box closing with an elegant tie.
