This publication is also available in: Français English (UK) Deutsch Italiano Español

We were familiar with Monsieur Dior, created by Jean Imbert, the numerous Ralph’s Coffee locations around the world, and La Renaissance by Jacquemus in Saint-Tropez. Since this summer, new luxury cafes and restaurants featuring the colors of major fashion houses have joined this prestigious list. From Dolce & Gabbana to Louis Vuitton, initiatives are blossoming to attract a clientele eager for unique moments filled with refinement. Discoveries await.

Dolce & Gabbana: the DG Caffè in Shanghai

In October 2024, at its flamboyant flagship in the Jing’an district of Shanghai, Dolce & Gabbana opens the doors to its DG Caffè. A 200 m² space dressed in orange and fuchsia, where Sicily takes center stage. This luxury café highlights the brand’s Italian heritage, particularly through the use of the iconic Carretto Siciliano motif, this colorful Sicilian cart, evoking a Mediterranean atmosphere that is easily recognizable. On the menu, a refined selection inspired by Italian cuisine, perfect for a formal meal or a casual tea time.

The dishes include authentic creations, with desserts showcasing the iconic motifs of Dolce & Gabbana, such as cakes in the shape of Sicilian lemons and roses, or a creamy tiramisu served in a Moka pot. The luxury café also highlights exclusive collaborations with renowned Italian brands, such as Bialetti, Donnafugata, a prestigious Sicilian vineyard, Fiasconaro, known for its artisanal Sicilian pastries, and Pastificio Di Martino, celebrated for its pasta.

Louis Vuitton and Cyril Lignac in London

Across the Channel, at Heathrow Airport, Louis Vuitton partners with chef Cyril Lignac to create a gastronomic stop worthy of the expectations of the most discerning travelers. Cozy and luxurious, this café is nestled next to a new boutique of the famous trunk maker, whose exceptional aerodynamic facade was designed in collaboration with architect Marc Fornes.

Guests can enjoy reinvented croque-monsieur, lobster rolls, and a selection of delicate pastries, all adorned with the iconic colors of the house. In a chic and contemporary atmosphere, this space invites contemplation and indulgence, making every stop a precious moment. This is Louis Vuitton’s first table in London, and the chef Lignac’s second, who also oversees the Bar des Prés in the upscale Mayfair district.

A Fendi restaurant on the Costa del Sol

In July 2024, Fendi made a notable entrance into the world of gastronomy with the opening of its Fendi La Plaza Caffe. Nestled within the Puente Romano Beach Resort hotel, the restaurant pays homage to the iconic codes of the house, particularly through the Pequin stripes that adorn the space. Guests can savor evocative cocktails such as the Fendi Baguette Paloma, while the varied menu offers a range of light dishes, from refreshing salads to gourmet sandwiches.
