Galehïa: the decor universe of influencer Noholita!
This publication is also available in: Français English (UK) Deutsch Italiano Español
After fashion, it is only natural that the interior decoration influencer Noholita is venturing into this realm. Camille Callen, her real name, is a young and successful entrepreneur who never ceases to amaze us. In addition to her swimwear brand NHLT, her beauty line Voilà Beauté, and her event projects, the influencer Noholita, who has over a million followers on Instagram, has just launched her home decor collection Galehïa. Her goal: to bring craftsmanship into a new universe of decoration for your home.
Galehïa aims to be transparent and claims to collaborate with local artisans to offer high-quality products. At Modalova, we love this kind of initiative, and it is only natural that we talk about it.
From Influencer to Creator: A Passion for Decoration
Since she was very young, Camille Callen has traveled a lot. While this is now also part of her work as an influencer, she does not forget the deeper reason for those who have a passion for adventure: the discovery of new cultures and the appreciation of an unknown elsewhere.
In fact, it’s a great time to launch, as the return to nature and the DIY trend are in vogue this year!
It is by rummaging and looking at other ways of living that the influencer felt the urge to share her second passion after fashion: creating a decor collection. With Galehïa, she aims to bring a touch of escape inside the home.
Decoration, Tableware, Homewear: An Interior Universe Inspired by Travels
Knowing Noholita on social media as a fashion influencer, I must admit I was surprised by the simplicity and serenity that these decorative pieces exude.
Surprised too by this desire to promote small collections created locally, some of which benefit from the Oeko-tex label according to Galehïa. We can only rejoice to see handmade pieces that promote a desire for escape and discovery, so I propose a little tour of the products I loved the most.
Interior Decoration
The vases are definitely a big hit in this collection. Shaped like amphorae, these creations bring a touch that is both feminine and natural to a room.
It’s impossible for a fashion and decor influencer not to love XXL candles! The wax comes from sage, to which essential oil has been added, and the candle is available in ecru, black, green, or yellow.
While I am more of a fan of the ecru color, I find this candle holder has a lot of personality. It brings a feeling of authenticity and is made from glazed white clay in Morocco.
Tableware
Wood and clay are honored in this pure collection that recalls long lunches under the Mediterranean sun. Yes, there’s like a taste of vacation in this tableware collection.
The two-tone bowl pairs very well with an outdoor table for summer salads, for example. Its color irregularities add charm to this piece made in Morocco.
Made from olive wood, this 58cm long cutting board makes you want to cook a natural and healthy meal.
Homewear
In this collection, which might expand in the future, influencer Noholita offers two cozy products that make you want to chill at home in style.
The Endless Baby Doll dress, long and open at the back. Made from 100% cotton in Portugal according to the information on the site, it is a creation by the influencer herself.
We love the clogs or rather…the Needed Clogs, designed by influencer Noholita. The shepherd-chic aspect is interesting and is easily worn in all seasons.
What Do We Think of Galehïa, the Decor Project of Influencer Noholita
The decor, tableware, and homewear collections are quite surprising and in limited editions, which aligns with what the brand claims regarding its values of craftsmanship and sourcing.
We love the understated aspect, the sunny and natural colors of the vases. The olive wood tableware recalls the Mediterranean and brings a touch of nature to the table.
According to the information found on the site, Galehïa claims to ensure complete transparency to its customers regarding the products sold.
While the production remains high-quality and supports local artisans, which is a fantastic initiative, the final price remains premium. Indeed, you should expect to pay at least between €39 and €69 for a candle and about €150 for a vase. A salad set costs €29, and for homewear, the Needed Clogs, even though they are made in Europe and the site provides information on traceability, will still set you back €195!
We do appreciate that the creator collaborates with Moroccan artisans she met on site, as she explains in this Instagram video.
