The Paris Fashion Week always brings its share of surprises, and this year again, the capital has demonstrated its sense of style with breathtaking shows and presentations. On the designer side, we witnessed exceptional innovations and crazy castings.
Now that the excitement has settled, I present to you a recap of the five most incredible moments of this Paris Fashion Week that left a lasting impression.
1/ The Air Swipe Bag by Coperni ignites Paris Fashion Week
The star of the show, Coperni, featured the German model Leon Dame closing the runway, showcasing the Air Swipe bag that subsequently set all social media ablaze.
Made up of 99% air, this handbag, which mirrors the house’s rounded design, is a feat in the fashion world. Crafted in Athens, it contains aerogel, a substance similar to glass foam, originally used by NASA. The aerogel allows for the collection of star dust from a satellite.
This marks a significant technological first for the two French designers Sébastien Meyer & Arnaud Vaillant, who had already created a buzz with the custom-made dress for Bella Hadid for the Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
@voguemagazine This bag is 99% air, and 1% glass. Coperni’s Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant redesigned their Swipe bag using a material that NASA originally developed to catch stardust, and #LeonDame had the honor of carrying it down the runway on the penultimate day of ParisFashionWeek. #TikTokFashion

2/ Paris Hilton walks the runway for Mugler
Burlesque and dramatic, the Mugler show was a true spectacle that dazzled the guests. Let’s first talk about the casting featuring Amelia Gray with her incredible moves, Alex Consani, and Irina Shayk. The theatrical staging was breathtaking with curtain falls revealing the backstage scenery.
And the surprise that no one expected: Paris Hilton made a sensational entrance on the runway, wearing a short black dress adorned with shoulder pads, her hair styled back in a bun, holding a half-moon bag, and sporting a rather dark and striking makeup look.
Casey Cadwallader made a significant impact with this show that will be remembered in the history of Paris Fashion Week for a long time.

3/ Brad Pitt and Penélope Cruz on the big screen at Chanel
Take a brand, a director, and iconic actors, and you have the most beautiful tribute one could pay to the film “A Man and a Woman” by Claude Lelouch.
Chanel decided to gift us this little cinematic gem full of emotion, featuring Brad Pitt and Penélope Cruz to showcase its collection.
Filmed in Deauville, in black and white, the film directed by the duo Inez and Vinoodh pays tribute to the French director while incorporating Chanel’s aesthetic.
A success for this show inspired by the city of Deauville. Apparently, Claude Lelouch was very moved to see his work come to life and even visited the filming.
@luxury_endless Penélope Cruz, Brad Pitt, and a Chanel quilted black handbag with a chain handle come together in Chanel’s latest campaign and fall 2024 show at Paris Fashion Week. The Oscar-winning actors star in a short film directed by Inez & Vinoodh, where the iconic bag takes center stage. 4/ Kate Moss’s lookalike creates the illusion at Marine Serre
Guests at this show must have felt a sense of déjà vu upon seeing the lookalike of Kate Moss on the runway. Denise Ohnona, her real name, is a 43-year-old model and mother who has made a profession out of her resemblance to the top model.
Dressed for the show in a loose white shirt and a faux leather jacket, the model sported the same hairstyle (and it’s certainly this that confused the guests) as the top model, with her blonde hair styled like Kate Moss.
A victim of a severe bus accident that disfigured her in her youth, she has made a true comeback in life and now walks the runways of Paris Fashion Week for Marine Serre.

We conclude with the cutest moment of Paris Fashion Week and probably of all Fashion Weeks ever!
The Chloé show was highly anticipated this year, and it was a triumph for the German designer Chemena Kamali, who joined the brand as artistic director last October.
After a show featuring flowing silhouettes as feminine as they were elegant, representing the brand’s DNA, Chemena came out to greet the audience. In the front row, upon seeing his mother, her son ran into her arms. A beautiful moment of authenticity and love that made everyone smile.
