You are considering purchasing thermal or sports clothing for the winter season, but you are wondering: how do Brubeck garments differ from the products available in shopping malls or cheaper stores? Even though at first glance the models of jackets and pants may seem similar, in fact they have almost everything in common!
We can of course assure you that our products are of the highest quality and perform well in the most extreme weather conditions, but those are just words. To ensure reliability, we decided to test Brubeck clothing in two situations: on a ski slope and on a hike on a chilly day. How did Brubeck products perform, and how did the clothing from a major chain hold up? See for yourself!
A Day on the Ski Slopes: Brubeck vs. Products from a Major Chain
Anyone who has spent an entire day skiing certainly knows that this activity is demanding not only during the descents themselves but also during the ascent to the lifts or during breaks for a hot drink or snack. Wind, sun, icy air, snow: all these factors, combined with physical exertion, make rolling in variable temperatures a real challenge for our bodies.
During the seven hours spent on the slopes in Brubeck thermoactive garments, we felt no discomfort at all – well, except during the intense descents of the last hours, where we felt quite tired. How do the thermal leggings from a major chain compare? In fact, it was warm during the first two or three hours – unfortunately, after that, we began to feel an unpleasant cold, and the pants started to stick uncomfortably to the body. The conclusion is simple: our merino wool products outperform cheaper clothing made from synthetic materials like polyester or acrylic.

Winter Trekking: Cheaper Sweatshirt vs. Functional Brubeck Clothing
When choosing a winter sweatshirt, we are often guided primarily by the appearance of a given model, but also by its price. It is no secret that the inexpensive sweatshirts available in major chains are made from synthetic materials that do not provide optimal thermal comfort. Why is a more expensive functional sweatshirt preferable for winter trekking?
We set out on a hike on a cold day where the temperature was minus eight degrees Celsius. Outside, we spent about four hours walking briskly through wooded areas. How did the sweatshirt from the chain store fulfill its purpose, and what comfort did the Brubeck product provide? The difference is very clear. A polyester sweatshirt from a cheaper store certainly did not rise to this challenge. After only an hour, we felt cold. The Brubeck sweatshirt performed perfectly – we felt comfortable and pleasant during four hours of walking!
In summary, the test of Brubeck clothing in extreme conditions, both on the ski slopes and during winter hikes, clearly confirmed the high quality and functionality of the brand’s products. Brubeck thermal underwear has proven its reliability during intense activities on the slopes, ensuring thermal comfort throughout the day.
Similarly, the functional Brubeck sweatshirt performed excellently during long hikes in low temperatures, offering significantly better thermal comfort than cheaper competing products. By choosing Brubeck thermal clothing for men or women, you can be sure not only of a stylish appearance but, more importantly, effective protection against extreme weather conditions.
