A rebranding that has piqued our curiosity since July, which combines new packaging details, a mesmerizing responsive website, and above all, the unveiling of a new collection that is utterly fascinating. More than ever, the Irish designer explores his creativity, his vision of fashion, everyday life, and craftsmanship<\/strong>. Craftsmanship as the creative engine of Jonathan Anderson<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whether within his eponymous brand, during his twelve years at LOEWE, or more recently, with his debut at Dior<\/a>, the main characteristic of Jonathan Anderson’s creativity stems from a deep love for craftsmanship<\/strong>, its traditions, gestures, and methods passed down through time and cultures. This passion is reflected not only in his pieces but also in the creation of the LOEWE Foundation Craft Prize<\/a> in 2016, which has highlighted the work of many artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, this love for craftsmanship is inseparable from emotions and storytelling<\/strong> for the designer. For three weeks, the JW Anderson x Galeries Lafayette pop-up highlights the Loafer bag in all its formats. Its recognizable silhouette, blending originality and tradition, is presented here in small, medium, and large sizes, sure to charm us all. Its precise cut, punctuated by delicate sewing work<\/strong>, conveys a timeless and comforting energy that we can’t help but admire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the traditional cut of loafers, the construction of the Loafer bag is remarkable, combining noble materials with meticulous finishing work<\/strong>. We particularly appreciate the external seams that add an elegant and charming visual relief. Manufactured in Italy, available in a color palette ranging from black to browns and even fir green, the bag is revealed in both tanned leather and suede versions. (and we also find it in denim on the website).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed as a continuation of the brand’s corner located on the designer floor, the JW Anderson x Galeries Lafayette pop-up presents itself as a cocoon of softness, both graphical, elegant, and calming.<\/strong> The design of the space, combining wood, metal, and felt materials, is tastefully accented with a touch of orange – reminiscent of the new pouches, as well as small vintage-style tags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
