Now that the sun has officially made its grand return, it’s easier for us to envision our spring wardrobe<\/strong>. Thus, today we wanted to focus on the prints that will enhance the season, namely floral patterns and stripes. But beware, the latter will not be hidden; on the contrary, their goal is to stand out!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The floral pattern is making a strong comeback, boldly and maximally<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If there’s one thing we’ve gathered from Pinterest Predicts 2026<\/a>, it’s the return of maximalism in outfits. It seems that the somewhat impersonal and overly pristine side of quiet luxury has become dull, and a desire for boldness is resurfacing!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it is in this quest to make a big impact that the floral pattern blooms anew this season, both in the form of prints and through the play of materials<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bouquet of prints, between retro inspirations and Regency style<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Naturally, when we talk about floral patterns, we immediately think of the work of Liberty Fabrics London<\/a> and their iconic floral pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More specifically, our minds have been captivated over the past few weeks by their recent (and second) collaboration with the Bridgerton series<\/a>, for which a collection of prints and pieces inspired by Regency style<\/strong> was created to celebrate the release of season 4. And we are fans!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the brand and runway side, botanical patterns have emerged with a retro spirit inviting us to take a journey through time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chlo\u00e9, Zimmerman, Richard Quinn, and Celine opt for bold and unapologetic visions of prints. From pastel romantic inspirations to patterns bordering on kitsch, or even shapes reminiscent of the 60s and 70s… The floral pattern is more versatile than ever<\/strong> for this spring!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prints are not the only ones reintegrating the floral pattern into our wardrobes. The shapes of nature also make their way in through volume<\/strong>, inspiring new silhouettes and material approaches for designers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an unparalleled source of inspiration, flowers have bloomed on recent runways through pieces that combine creativity and rich craftsmanship<\/strong>, as seen in the creations of the first haute couture collection by Jonathan Anderson for Dior.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This work with materials plays with a trompe l’oeil spirit<\/strong>, which makes the outfits bloom in a more or less maximalist way. We think, for example, of the Richard Quinn dress worn by Nicola Coughlan at the BAFTAs<\/a>, or the tone-on-tone relief aspect at Zimmerman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horizontally, vertically, or even diagonally, stripes are making their way into our outfits this spring-summer, from head to toe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This print, which already had its moment last year with Oxford shirts and linen pants, is making a strong comeback, especially through one piece: the striped top.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shading the classic sailor top, the current striped top is a bit more retro<\/strong> and even invites a revisit of the rugby polo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making its mark in trends since last year, the polo of this spring presents itself as a variation of modern preppy style<\/a>. Blending sportswear spirit with casual style, it charms with its lines and bold print<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
