On the occasion of the release of the Orph\u00e9on Eau de Toilette by Diptyque<\/strong>, the house invites us to immerse ourselves in the eponymous jazz club that inspired the creation of the fragrance in 2021, and today, its new variation<\/strong>. A carefully crafted space celebrating music and creativity, where you can discover this new fragrant bouquet while enjoying a selection of vinyl records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diptyque’s Present Inspired by the Past of Saint-Germain-des-Pr\u00e8s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Unveiled in 2021, the Orph\u00e9on fragrance by Diptyque is more than just a scent. Indeed, its bottle holds all the atmosphere and memories of a place dear to the three founders of the house<\/strong>. Namely, the Orph\u00e9on jazz club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important venue in the music scene during the 60s and a neighbor to the first Diptyque boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain, this bar was a meeting point and a place for exchanges at the end of the day. A lively landmark where music, discussions, dancing, and games took place in a cozy and smoky atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having purchased the location after its closure to expand its boutique in the 5th arrondissement, the brand wished to perpetuate the legacy of this jazz club<\/strong> by composing a fragrant bouquet reminiscent of the evenings that took place there and the emotions tied to them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Combining cedar with tonka bean, juniper berry, and jasmine, the Orph\u00e9on fragrance by Diptyque reveals itself with character and brings back the scents that intertwined in this club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available in a solid format, a gel, a body lotion, a hand cream, and a hair mist, the original scent has inspired a new one<\/strong>, just unveiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, originally contained in a blue bottle reminiscent of the interior of the Orph\u00e9on jazz club, the fragrance has been given a makeover, featuring a smoky glass for this new fragrant chapter. And we still find, as a signature, on the back of the label, the silhouettes of the three founders<\/strong> of the Diptyque house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the original composition of the Eau de Parfum took us where the evening was in full swing<\/strong>, the Orph\u00e9on Eau de Toilette by Diptyque is here to accompany us for the early evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With green mandarin replacing tonka bean and jasmine, the fragrance reveals itself with a note of pep that is both fresh and dynamic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the occasion of the launch of its Orph\u00e9on Eau de Toilette, Diptyque has transformed the ephemeral corner of its flagship<\/strong> into a listening station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This space, dedicated to art, reveals itself as a celebration of jazz and creativity. Decorated with a large neon sign and a minimalist design spirit incorporating silhouettes of instruments, the Orph\u00e9on range by Diptyque unfolds in a carefully curated setting, blending past and modernity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed in collaboration with Superfly Records<\/strong>, we discover a selection of vinyls offering a journey through jazz, from the 60s to today, blending French, English, US, and South African influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Various writings and books also accompany the dive into this universe, not far from a set of dice, left for those who might be tempted to play a game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Diptyque house thus brings the Orph\u00e9on jazz club back to life through this installation, as well as through a playlist available on Spotify<\/a> and a collector’s vinyl (which can be personalized during workshops).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, an exceptional collaboration with ColorsxStudios and Ezra Collective<\/strong> took place, during which the group reinterpreted one of their iconic tracks “Enter the Jungle”. Celebrating the vibrant atmosphere of jazz clubs, this creative exchange also provided an opportunity to explore the language between scents and melodies.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discover the Diptyque Flagship<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While you’re visiting 7 rue Duphot, we can only recommend that you explore the rest of the address, which has been decorated with elegance and refinement<\/strong>. Being the flagship of the house, the boutique is the largest in Europe and allows for the discovery of the entire creative palette of Diptyque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We particularly appreciate the different atmospheres created by artists and architects, who offer us an immersive visit<\/strong>. From a living room showcasing various home fragrances to a bathroom corner with the most creative woodwork, a little green nook dedicated to refillable formats, and a charming winter garden… The boutique, with its refined details (like the wrought iron work of the staircase) is a space celebrating creation and art in the broadest sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The listening station is on display until March 30 at 7 rue Duphot<\/strong>, while its London version, at the New Bond Street boutique, will close its doors on April 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
