After the oversized glasses or cyclist spirit – shield<\/a> sunglasses, the eyewear trend is now shifting towards elegance and longer silhouettes<\/strong>. Indeed, for the past few months, the optical world has seen a resurgence of forgotten shapes, featuring rounded or rectangular lines. This change stems, as always, from the popularity of a trend-aesthetic<\/strong>: librarian core. Between Oxford shirts, tailored skirts, and librarian-style glasses, this new trendy chapter, which began last year, is reaching its peak in 2025, with a new emblem: the oval Miu Miu glasses called Regard!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The librarian core: a moment of glory for librarian glasses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Librarian glasses have been taking over social media for a few months and have become even more prominent in recent weeks! (or secretary glasses for some models). They have become the must-have fashion accessory<\/strong> (on the nose, but especially in your Instagram photos), highlighting the vintage – y2k<\/a> vibe defining the librarian core.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Miu Miu oval Regard glasses: the success of the tortoiseshell pair<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Showcased during the AW 2023\/2024 fashion week<\/strong>, the Miu Miu oval Regard glasses, with their 80s silhouette, were the star pair of the collection. Priced at \u20ac370, it was later in a sunglasses version that we rediscovered them. Once again made with their tortoiseshell border<\/strong>, the pair has become a Miu Miu signature model. And, it has never ceased to charm, as proven today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
