The Berlin Fashion Week is in full swing, and we kicked off this edition smoothly with a day dedicated to vintage and cool styles before diving into the excitement of the runway shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this first fashion outing, we stepped into the Berlin pop-up store Doppelreiher for a fitting session that we love: spontaneous, joyful, and full of discoveries. Among rare pieces, impeccable cuts, and beautiful surprises, we uncovered hidden treasures from the independent fashion scene that we eagerly rushed to try on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s our heartwarming selection: the most beautiful pieces found, tried on, and (almost) adopted to discover right here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The Modest Summer Dress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the color of the season (butter yellow), beautifully embroidered, and incredibly sturdy.
The only downside: with a dress like this, I quickly look like a Mormon woman ready to bake pies before heading to church.
But wearing it\u2026 is a real delight!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The quality of the fabrics is an essential criterion to consider when buying clothes, whether new or vintage. So when we come across a piece that is a bit older but still soft and sturdy, we know we\u2019ve found a truly beautiful quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. The Jean-Paul Gaultier Jacket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It’s not every day that you get the chance to wear such a well-cut blazer. (and it\u2019s signed Jean-Paul Gaultier<\/a>). The result: it runs large, the shoulders are very square, and one shoulder appears wider than the other. However, the English uniform vibe with these patterns, we love!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. The Sculpted Bag<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The sculpted design on the bag is in perfect condition. So perfect that I didn\u2019t dare to wear it and left it on the shelf. Of course, you can buy it and wear it, as well as simply admire it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sculpted image made me think of a biblical scene with a donkey. The leather of the bag has surely been restored. It\u2019s definitely an exceptional piece that I didn\u2019t dare to touch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. The Vintage Gold Dior Jacket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alone, I would have never tried it on; I would have looked at it from afar, but too bling for me. And yet\u2026 this jacket that I thought was unwearable is simply stunning. The cut is sublime, the material is soft, even though you remain a bit on edge while wearing it, afraid to damage it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had so much confidence in this jacket that I could have gone straight to the interview to become the worthy successor of Anna Wintour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No doubt: clothes play a huge role in how we feel. This jacket is living proof!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. The Pink Blazer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A blazer doesn\u2019t necessarily mean a black or gray jacket for work. No, no, it can very well be pink, with simple floral patterns, like this one. Marie would have happily taken it home, but unfortunately\u2026 we were kindly asked to return it when leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is what\u2019s truly amazing about the Doppelreiher pop-up during this Berlin Fashion Week (and more broadly in second-hand shopping): some pieces that we usually wear classically stand out here with vibrant and fresh colors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. The Embroidered Dress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It looks straight out of a movie, and we can easily imagine running through a field of poppies, in summer, in the mountains. Yes, fashion makes you dream!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What we notice right away is the meticulous embroidery work and the colors of the illustration on the front of the dress, which alone tell the story of this garment. Not to mention the fitted waist and the skirt made of two layers. To break the overly romantic image of the piece, we pair it with a chunky pearl necklace and cowboy boots, guaranteeing a cowboy effect!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. The Prada Sandals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Green Prada<\/a> sandals? Of course. Trying on vintage pieces from the 1970s-1980s makes you realize the aesthetic changes between generations. And we can say they were much more optimistic\u2026 back then!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These sandals have a vintage look, and they truly are vintage. We love the chunky buckle that adds a little \u201cI own it\u201d vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t try them on, but they look comfortable enough to make their way to the Berlin Fashion Week runway shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. The Cowboy Jacket<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This jacket! If Beyonc\u00e9 came to the Doppelreiher pop-up store, there\u2019s no doubt: this is THE piece she would leave with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collar finishes are impeccable, the flowers add a feminine touch, and the simple colors: red, black, and white clearly evoke the Wild West universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the touch, the shirt is incredibly soft. In short, if Beyonc\u00e9 hasn\u2019t bought it yet, it\u2019s clearly a good investment for her next concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. The Impossible Heels of Berlin Fashion Week<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Did I try to walk in them? Yes. Did I succeed? Yes\u2026 for three meters, no more. Well, aside from the fact that they are unwearable for me (I haven’t worn heels this high in a long time), they are stunning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the big difference from standard heels: the quality.
The quality of the materials and the attention to detail always make the difference between a good product and a true luxury piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. The Dreamy Cowboy Boots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I love cowboy boots, yet I never wear them. Why? I don\u2019t know, but that might change with these. The leather is clearly vintage, and they must have been loved before ending up at Berlin Fashion Week. These pointed-toe shoes are made to last and be cherished again, which is great. Their rock and roll vibe is balanced with a little heart in the middle of the eagle embroidery, making them perfect companions for a long embroidered dress or a cowboy outfit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
