Dance is life! This summer, the Grand Palais invites you to move. Forget about exhibitions and social events with a glass of champagne in hand: it’s time for something more vibrant, more embodied. From June 13 to July 18, the nave of the Grand Palais gives a blank slate to invited artists to orchestrate XXL dance classes, free and open to all. A summer interlude that promises to make Paris vibrate and an excellent excuse to slip into your finest Ballet-core outfits and hit the dance floor.
Dance Classes
This summer, we’re going to sweat under the Grand Palais. With the time for exhibitions over, Saturday mornings, the glass roofs of the nave at the Grand Palais in Paris transform into a massive classroom, where free workshops are offered, led by prestigious guests and artists. The XXL dance workshops “Grand Mouvement” invite the public, both enthusiasts and beginners, to discover dance, explore body movement, and get introduced to the art of choreography.
If you’re hesitant to join because you don’t really know how to dance, forget your apprehensions right away: these classes are open to everyone, with no prerequisites. Here, there’s no performance to achieve, but an experience to live, where you come to feel, experiment, and share. In this spectacular setting, dance becomes a festive moment, where we can all be carried away by the energy of the group and the artist. A beautiful way to (re)discover your body, move differently, and incorporate culture into your summer, all in complete freedom. Come on, let’s put on our ballet flats and rush to the Grand Palais!

How Dance Can Help in Daily Life
Dance and movement are incredible tools for reconnecting with your body, releasing tension, and finding a certain balance, both physical and mental. Much more than a simple activity, they help combat stress, fatigue, and even low morale.
No need to have experience: just move, listen to your body, and allow yourself to be guided. In just a few sessions, the way you see yourself evolves, confidence builds, and sometimes, a true passion is born almost unexpectedly.
Dancing in public, together, also creates connection. We share energy, a moment, an emotion. So this summer, let’s dare to go out, let go, and express ourselves, simply.
